Why is it that society seems to always get robbed of its greatest individuals? (e.g. Phil Hartman, Martin Luther King Jr, Jimi Hendrix, Gilda Radner, etc. - unfortunately)
I am a huge fan of all of Phil's work and as a fellow Canadian, so proud of what he accomplished. When I watch him now I still laugh but it is tinged with sadness at the senseless waste.
he was a great actor and will be missed always and forever. i wish that he was still here to fill our living rooms with the talent of his acting and comedy if he was still here he would be ten times as famous and loved RIP
Hi! Today I have received the DVD of NewsRadio complete first and second season, which I pre-ordered in 2003. It took so long time, but today! It's your MEINICHI (means death day in Japanese). You will make me laugh again! Thank you the precious gift from heaven on your MEINICHI.

This is difficult to put in words-I have been avoiding watching my DVDs of "News Radio," b/c they are such a gift & terrible reality in tandem- now that the 4th season is coming, I just don't know- am I to be excited? sad? I hope his children are doing well- He was (and is) such a gift.

I just watched 'So I married an Axe Murder', its about the 8th time I've seen it now, but it just reminded me of how great Phil really was as a comedian and an actor. I will always miss you Phil, you will forever be in my heart.
I can't belive he has died. Only found out when whatching recent epiosodes of the Simpsons that I recognised Troy Mclure was'nt there to tell us about his past sucsesses. All I can say is I was pleased to find out his last film before his untimley death was Small Soldiers, an all time favourite.
I was a Phil Hartman fan from the time of his original appearance on SNL in 1986. For some reason he was in a vivid dream I had last night and that got me to wondering a little more about his life so I found a web page dedicated to his honor. The poetic sarcasm always present in the voices of many of his cahracters still haunts me even to this day, especially the Las Vagas style Frank Sinatra character. He was a talent to always remeber.
I just saw small soldiers yesterday. I haven't seen it in awhile. It was great. Phil was great. Every time I see him in a movie, I think how sad that he is no longer here. His life was taken so suddenly but he is in a better place. What an awesome actor.
I was watching some Saturday Night Live and my kids and I think you are the funniest on that show. Also watched Pee Wee when they were little. Awesome. I am a grandmother now and I feel sad that you are missing out. Your kids and grand kids would have had a blast with you.
I miss Phil's characters as a fan of SNL and I really wonder how such a tragic ending of life happens in our society. "All you need is love", John Lennon. PEACE

Phil, one psychic says that you are still earthbound to help take care of your kids. That shows how kind and compassionate you are. Know that God loves you and will be with you shortly. I pray for you.
phil hartman's death, to me, is the most tragic out of all of the snl alumns who have died. belushi and farley's deaths were drug overdoses, but kind of expected because they openly did drugs, and radner died of cancer, but phil was murdered. he did nothing to deserve what he got. God knows what he could of accomplished and what other things he might have done to further his career as one of the greatest impressionists ever. His charlton heston always puts a smile on my face and the best of phil hartman is one of the greatest snl dvd's ever made. RIP Phil. we miss you

Phil was my favourite American comedian, Humour has not been the same since.
It would be nice to see some sort of documentary on Phil - are you listening, A&E? Biography? - that is a little bit of a catch up on Phil's influence on the newer comedians. I will watch just about anything on him, but I get sick of seeing the same rehash over the murder-suicide, etc. - just that info usually takes up the last half of a program when we could be seeing some of his best work left behind, etc.

Phil Hartman was the greatest thing to happen to SNL since John Belushi
Phil was hilarious. He is missed on the screen in whichever film or show he was on. He had the greatest sense of humor. I always remeber him on the movie "House Guest" with Sinbad. He is a crack up!
We miss you,Phil Hartman. You made us laugh and you are inimitable. We will remember you forever

My son and i, have just watched Kiki's delivery service. It's a lovely movie, one we watch over again. You had a fantastic voice, no-one can ever replace you. Rest in peace
My dear brother Phil,
Never has there ever been such a man to make the whole world laugh and cry.
Your presence is greatly missed and we will always love you.
Marcus
Phil Hartman has made me laugh more times than I can count. One of my best memories is of him telling the story on how he was selected to the cast of Saturday Night Live. You may remember him telling Loren Michaels he could do any dialect. Loren asked okay do French. Phil quipped "I don't do French..." That sealed the deal. Phil got the job, and the rest is history. He has been sorely missed.
I first got taste of simpsons in nov 1998. by 1999 i was mad crazy about it love to go on mirc and say hello my name is yaas, u might know me........
Always loved that troy dude. few days ago I just saw an episode of newsradio and found out that announcer dude is troy. I dont know it was happy moment or sad one cause i found out that he died 8 years ago.
This guy was just amazing. Some real amazing dialogue delivery.
I still think of Phil Hartman alot--and still wonder what movies he would have made had he lived. His SNL Best of DVD is really an essential must-have for your SNL collection (But I'm sure you everyone already knew that).
I was fifteen in May 1998 (I turned sixteen in October that year), and when I found out about the death, I was very shaken, and made EVERY attempt to watch EVERY tribute and news story there was. My favorite was a 1989 "Today Show" interview of Hartman with Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz, who were all close friends on "Saturday Night Live." I saw this archived interview on "Time and Again" on MSNBC in 1998.
The tribute at the 25th Anniversary is still memorable--I never cried about his death, but seeing his beloved friends gathered together on stage (except for Dana Carvey, who was battling health problems at the time), was a tissue moment. "Love is a Dream" puts a smile on my face everytime I see it.
Phil, thank you for sharing your talents with the world--I will FOREVER miss your impressions and the personality that shone through on every SNL episode.
You will NEVER be forgotten.
Allison :-)
It's hard to believe its been almost 8 years since Phil died. He was a comic genius who will be remembered for decades to come. He made me laugh again today!
God Bless you Phil.
Phil Hartman was a hero, a true hero. Heroes aren't supposed to die like he did. I'm sorry for his death. He was a very funny man. Right up until the burning end.
We've been sitting here for a few days watching "the Best of SNL" and just can't believe people like Phil are really gone. Could watch his SNL skits over and over.
Never new the depth of his comedy until now. It's a shame he's not around to give us new things to laugh at. I wish I could have seen him in a stand-up routine in person.
"Get the Amigo's clothes!" Phil Hartman was an absolute joy. His rye and very distinctive humor will last for generations. It pains me still that the world had not yet seen the best of his genius. God be with you Phil.

I just wanted to say thanks Phil for all the memories. Thanks for all the great roles that you played, and all you did for comedy. But most of all thank you for all the pain that you put my sides through when you made me laugh.
Phil, Thank you so much!
God Bless You!
Comedy will never be the same without you Phil! Neither will the simpsons, truly some great work buddy. Rest in peace Mr Hutz.

Phil Hartman was a very talented and hillarious comedian, he was a master of his art. My heart sank when I heard news of his death that awful morning in 1998, the world
lost a very valuable actor & comedian. I love the movie
Houseguest and his last movie in which he starred with
Arnold Swarzneggar. He was brillant and lit up the screen with his antics and improv. God bless you Phil, I'm sure
you're making the big guy chuckle upstairs on a daily basis.

I loved SNL when Phil was there.....I'm just a caveman....He had a wonderful voice....He's a funny man...I still miss watching him....Thanks for all the laughs Phil
I'm just watching the News Radio for the first time in years again, and found this website when trying to find the year we lost him. He was a great talent, and watching him again in the show just drives home how great the loss to the world was when he was taken from us. Rest in Peace Phil, and thank you for years of some of the hardest laughs anyone has ever given me.

I was watching the Simpsons earlier and began to think about what a truly GREAT talent he was and what a tragedy it was to have him taken the way he was taken from this world.
It's always endearing to see Phil on any of the many tv and movie appearances he made over his shortened carreer. I know that I cried like a baby when I saw NewsRadio's tribute/send off to Phil's character, Bill McNeal. I never met him, but what consistently shined through his work was the feeling that he was a genuinely GOOD human being.
It's hard not to get angry and say negative things about the individual that took his life, but I want this tribute to stay posted so I'll refrain.
Let me just say in closing that I miss you, Phil. You were one of a kind and your legacy will keep your name living on well into the future.
Thank you.
phil hartman was funniest comedian brought to hollywood. i only had to watch two shows and already i was in love with his talent. my deepest sympathy goes oout to his family and friends. thanks for the memories!! May GOD be with you.
It is ironic, that Phil Hartman's humor is one of the only things that removes me from the sorrow of his death. Phil was an amazing comedian of the likes which we will never see again. As you might know, he was born is Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Canada has a program much like that of Hollywood, but is called Canada's Walk of Fame. To date, Phil Hartman is not included in this program. I have requested his name for consideration and perhaps with increased support we can have him adding to Canada's walk of fame. Please submit requests at www.canadaswalkoffame.com. As fans, I know he has made us laugh and cry and offered so much to our lives. Perhaps this is something we can offer him back (and further prove that Phil Hartman is a legend).
You where and all ways a star. I sat down this Christmas and watched Jingle all the way and i soon realised how much of a legend you where a true great mist. The one and Only Late Great Phil Hartman . Not forgeting your simpsons bits to legend
Just finished re-watching News Radio seasons 1-4. It's amazing the amount of talent involved in that show, and yet after the death of Phil the energy behind the show gets lost. An amazing talent. I both laugh and cry when I see Phil's work
phil hartman was and still is in his movies that survive him a truly great actor as he always will be phil will always be remembered for his aptitude for humor and his always winning smile and voice
a remarkable man. a genuine character in everything he did. it's a pity the world has lost yet another peice of talent, the kind that makes you laugh and have a smile... no matter what the circumstance.
Phill R.I.P still one of the best actors ever and most def one of the funniest... newsradio would prolly still be making new episodes if the tragady never happend..
greets from the netherlands..
My name is khaled from United Arab Emirates, i watch the news radio all the time and i feel so sad because of death of phil hartman, he was gentleman and he make very nice person.
Phil fue y es uno de los mejores comediantes de nuestra epoca. Me hubiera gustado tener el placer de conocerlo como persona pero a la vez me doy cuenta que era una persona de gran corazon y carisma.

Phil was one of my favorites, since I first saw him as Captain Carl on the original Pee wee Herman HBO show. For years I said he was unjustly overlooked as the best cast member on SNL. And he was the best reason among many good ones to watch News Radio. There's not enough space to list all the reasons I enjoyed Phil, but I'm glad to have this space to keep his memory alive. There will never be another like him.

After all these years, I still miss the "great one".
Writing this seems odd. Because I know the son of Phil, Sean is his name. Seeing him in my ceramics class (Ive known him since 7th grade, so about 4 years), you wouldn't even know there was a connection to the Ledgendary Phil Hartman because he never talks about it. And I cant blame him, its obviously a very painful subject. I always liked any scetch in SNL, or Simpsons episode with Troy McCleur, or any episode of News Radio (which I havent seen in about a year). All because Phil was a comic genious. He had somthing I dont think anybody will ever have again. But Sean is a very funny person, and Im not surprised. He brough a certain element to anything he was in, be it a movie or being interviewed on TV. Anything he was in became many times better just with his name stuck on it. So mabey, just mabey, Sean Hartman could be the next comic great, following in his fathers footsteps. I can see that he has it in him. So keep your eyes open for his name. And I can honestly say that I will never forget the impact Phil Hartman had on this world. Rest in peace Phil.
Phil was an absolute comic genius - I have missed him much more than I ever thought I would considering I have never even met him. But his sketches on SNL were ALWAYS SUPER FUNNY - My favorite was the interview show where he played Sinatra and Sting was Billy Idol - he told Sting/Billy : "i got guys like you in my stools kid" ... - and his voice overs were so wonderfully equally brilliant.
Thanks for the belly laughs Phil - The world is bleaker without you in it. Miss you!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at those pictures of Phil brings back soooo many memories. It seems like just yesterday that you were on SNL and News Radio. The fact that it's been over seven years now since you've been gone and the memories of the skits you did (clinton, frankenstein, frozen caveman lawyer, anal retentive chef, sinatra, etc.) are still so fresh in my and everyone else's minds says a lot about your talent. Phil, you brightened up my and my friend's lives. And by looking at this guestbook, you made tons of others happy too. Those were good times homie, and the world is less bright without you. See you in Heaven!

Three words: unfrozen caveman lawyer. I don't think it gets much better than that. Phil will always be sorely missed.
Phil made me laugh alot. I loved his humor, his demeanor, how he acted...I always wonder what Phil would have done in film if he were still with us. A true comedy legend that will surely be missed.

The fact that this page continues to get entries after so many years is a tribute to Phil's amazing ability to make us laugh. It's such a shame we lost him.
I just stumbled upon this site while using Google to confirm the spelling of Phil's last name (one "N" or two?) while referencing him in a piece I'm sending to James Lileks (when you send something to a big-shot writer, you want to make sure there are no spelling errors! ). Since I'm now here, let me just say that my wife and I always enjoyed Phil's work. Especially meaningful was his "Anal-retentive Chef" character on SNL. We howled with laughter. Well, I did. My wife just kept pointing at me throughout her comic convulsions. Thanks, Phil, for all the fun, the laughs, and the memories. We'll always remember you.
Just found out today that phil is dead!? I'm from Norway and used to watch the good old saturday night live shows! I saw small soldiers today and on the end their was a message saying "for phil". So I had to investigate on that, to my shock I foundout that he was killed? all my love and thoughts goes to their children!

Phil was and always will be a true comic gem. He will always be unmatchable in style, imagination, and talent. The best has lived, and the best will never be replaced. God bless you Phil and your journey onward.
Phil, we'll never forget the way you made us laugh. Up to this day, I watch reruns of the simpsons with you in it. It's definately not the same with you, Rest In Peace.
nobody in this hell world can replace (troy mclure, bill mcneil) We in pune , india deeply mourn your death. As he would often say GOOD BYE OLD FRIEND . Now god is enjoying your humour.
Phil Hartman went to the same Jr. High and High school as my husband did, and he remembers Phil as the class clown who never made his jokes at the expense of another student. His kind sensitivity and absence of ego were heartwarming traits that endeared him to me, and I am sure, many others. My favorite role of his was in "Houseguest" with Sinbad. That role was surely most like the Phil we all loved -- wanting to believe the best of people, hardworking, and generous to a fault. I will always miss him, and hope to see him in Heaven.

What I remember about Phil is he was my brothers best friend, and even in high school he was hilarious.Years later, not only did Phil take the time to mentor my daughter about acting,he did it seriously and with honesty, even if she called him when he had high profile company. Those of us who loved him will never forget him.Not for the shows he shined in, but for who he was.My brother told me recently that he will never have another best friend. You only have one in life. Our hearts and thoughts are with his children and family every day.

I found this site three days ago and have REALLY enjoyed looking around, for you see, I am a HUGE fan of Phil Hartman. I wanted to wait till today to sign the guestbook, as today is Phil's birthday and it's a perfect time to leave my own little tribute to the man I acknowledge as the most influential comedian in my life. How influential you ask? Well, since my earliest days, I've loved to make people laugh. Lots of people have told me I should do something in comedy, but I never really thought I could. A month ago I picked up the NewsRadio 1st and 2nd season dvd collection and just watching how gifted Phil was gave me the confidence to give comedy a try. But enough about me, this is about Phil and how grateful I and an enormous amount of others are for all he's done to brighten our lives with laughter and amusement. I'm in the process of trying to collect all of his work and it's really neat to watch his growth through the years. I only wish there was a way to see his early improv work. There is an old saying, something about "laughter being the best medicine". Well in my opinion, that makes Phil Hartman the ultimate pharmacist, dispensing just the right amount of joy in the lives of those who love and admire him. I found out too late to be able to join everyone else at the Phil Hartman celebration today, but if it is an annual thing, I'll be there next year for sure. We'll be watching some classic Phil from my collection today though, and I'll pause to say a little prayer for Phil and his family. Phil, I wish I'd have had the privilege to meet you in person or even more so, to work with you in something. God rest your soul and I'll see you when I get to where it is that you are. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY my friend !!!
I just purchased the News Radio DVD. Watching it, I can't help but think about how Phil Hartman is the funniest man alive and then I remember that he is no longer with us. I never "knew" him but I miss him. He made me laugh when no one else could. He was a shining light in a world where darkness is always threatening to overcome. May God bless you and your family for I thank the Lord for you. I thank you Phil Hartman... The funniest man that ever was!
Just watched the SNL first five years special tonight and realize how much Phil contributed to that show. Still keep remembering how much I miss Phil and wish he were still here doing anything on T.V. I miss his humor and smiling face. Phil...we love you!!!! You anal-retentive chef.
My husband and I were just watching the opening monologue on SNL and we just realized the giant hole left in the comedy community. No one but Phil will ever be able to fill that space so I guess I'll just save that space in memory of him and his incredible talent. God bless Phil!

Having always been a loyal fan of Phil Hartman, I can't believe it was only just now that I found the existence of this web tribute to him. But like they say, better late than never. To me, Phil Hartman has always been much more than just a comedian. He makes us laugh because he understands the need of people to release their otherwise tightly locked emotions, so whenever he steps into a role he allows us to laugh at the side of us which we were always afraid of being laughed at by other people. Yet, even though Phil portraits the vices of humanity with such unparalleled talent and devotion, we can always see right through his roles and know in our hearts that he has a gentle and kind soul. Beneath his signature fake smile, he smiles the smile of a man who loves bringing happiness, even if just a little, to his audiences. It's been a long time since his passing, but judging from the length of this guestbook, I am not alone in still often thinking of him. I will always remember him as the man who unreservedly gave us laughter, joy, and above else, love. Whever he is now, I hope he has his canes with him, and let no one take them away from him.
What I remember about Phil was his voice; funny people know how to use it and he was incredible. See you mate, from all your Aussie fans.

I truly miss the great talent of Phil Hartman. I stumbled across this site tonight and it brought back a lot of memories I have watching Phil on SNL as I was growing up. He was truly a talent that always made me laugh. I remember the day that I heard that he was killed and how sad I felt knowing he would never make me laugh again, at least with anything new at least. One thing is for sure he left much material that will allow others to know his talent. Thank you Phil for making me laugh all those years, you are truly missed by your fans.
Truly a genius! You will be forever in my mind and heart.

I wish i've seen his other performances, but i can't as i live far far away in Briton. He was an amazing voice actor playing one of my favorite Simpsons characters: Troy Mcclure. After a couple of years since he died, i thought The Simpsons got a bit 'dull'. Anyway Goodbye!

Wow, I cannot believe it has been 7 years since our beloved Phil was taken away. He was a comic genius. He was a man of many talents that not only included acting, but singing and art. We will love you forever Phil and miss you with each passing day. You will aiways remain a legend never to be forgotten, but to always be remembered in our hearts and the hearts your children. Your spirit lives on. God Bless.
Remember crying during the episode where they announced that he was gone, such a shame to see a great person taken away with such undue timing. God Bless, even 8 years later.

You could not walk past the tv with a "phil" doing anything....you HAD to sit and rewatch something for the billionth time.....and laugh your a** off!!......I still remember where I was when i heard.......(sigh) Love you Phil...always will.
It was a great honor to be a part of the Morgan Theatre production of The Music Man, it was Phil's first play. I was just 12 years old at the time, it was my first leading role(understudy I played for one night, the rest of the time I was a townsperson, Phil was the train conductor), and I remember him well, he was so cheerful and outgoing. He had an afro and a huge smile, and always greeted the entire cast when he'd enter the building for rehearsals and before the show. I did not realize that he was Phil Hartman at the time, and was pleasantly surprized when watching an A & E special about his life and realized from the program shown on the screen and the narrator's description, that he was the same individual! It was not until then that I also remembered him greeting me backstage at The Tonite Show years later with that same Hartman hardy greeting! ;(
You are missed!

Phil was a great man. Besides his great work on SNL, Phil also did cartoon voices too. I'm a big cartoon fan myself. I recently found out that Phil did voices on Smurfs and Challenge Of The Go Bots (two of my favorites). Of course, most people know him as the voices of Troy McLure and Lionel Hutz on the Simpsons. They were fun characters.
Good Bye Phil. I hope you manage to entertain lots of people in Heaven.

When I first saw the farewell episode for Phil on newsradio I couldnt believe what I heard .... my first thoughts were well they will never be able to find any1 better .... Now its been sometimes since Phil left us and I still cant remember any one person who had made laugh so hard..... I pray for Phil and his loved ones.....
I still can´t believe Phil Hartman is no longer with us. I´m from Brazil and even here his talent was noticed and missed till nowadays. When we imagine how much he still got to give... He will be one of the greatests forever.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOU STILL MAKE ME LAUGH I WILL MISS YOU MAKING NEW TAPES AND SHOWS GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved Phil Hartman from the first moment I saw him. I am watching the dvd of his series "News Radio" and it's like he is still here. He "lives" through reruns and is in my thoughts whenever I think of a lovable funny person. Thanks Phil, you have affected my life.
The comedic genius of Phil Hartman is still sorely missed. The Simpsons, SNL, and Newsradio are just a few DVD's you can buy to relive his brilliant work. Buy them, keep his spirit alive for there probably will never be another one like him. What a tragedy.............
I was trying to figure out who Phil Hartman was after seeing "Kiki's Delivery Service" and seeing the "In Memory of Phil Hartman" sentence. I then did some more reading up on him, and found more about who he was. It really is sad how such a great person was lost like this. Wherever he is now, I give him a salute for his fine work.
a laugh has died and will be dearly missed, i just hope there is someone else thats just as good. Will miss you Troy McClure aka Lionel Hutz.

What a wonderful idea, this guestbook. I am reading up on Phil after seeing the SNL tribute show rerun, and amazed to learn about just how far and wide his talent ranged - anyone would have been thrilled to have the success he did as a graphic designer, with so many top album covers and the famous Crosby Stills and Nash logo: who could have predicted a second career that spanned TV and film for 14 years, finding so many outlets, from live TV to animation? It is still so hard to believe how his story ended. I will never forget seeing an interview the year before he was killed, talking about family life with his kids, especially his daughter, with great delight. He seemed truly happy. I wonder how they are doing today. They are the ones who suffered the greatest loss. My heart goes out to them.
I've witnessed Phil Hartman's gift in his voice work on The Simpsons for years. The show has not been the same since he has been gone. Phil had a sparkling persona and it showed through every character he portrayed. It saddens me that his time could not have been longer on this earth. Phil, I loved your work :)

I grew up watching Mr. Hartman on SNL. I was moved to tears laughing at his enormous talent. I also enjoyed his work on Newsradio. May He Rest in Peace. God gave us a hilarous angel, and I bet he has even made God pee a couple times. Thanks

we enjoyed your sense of humor and whenever i was down o would watch you and you would make me laugh so hard till i was in tears we love and miss you may you make the angels laugh the way you made us laugh
I got Flat TV in the mail yesterday... I thought I knew all of Phil's voices but he does stuff on this CD that I've never heard before- the teenage son doesn't even remotely sound like him. I love the photos in the liner notes, too. Anyhoo, It's hilarious, and more importantly, it's 100% Phil. I'm so grateful Phil's brother decided to share it with his fans.
I just bought Newsradio seasons 1 and 2. I've been desperate for those shows for BILL McNeill is the funniest character ever. We miss you Phil. Thanks for the hardest laughs we've ever experienced. You are truly the best and you're truly missed. You were the glue in SNL and the heart of Newsradio.
May you be regaled with an endless REAL laugh track, from the angels, in the Valhalla of Laughs. You deserve it, you crack me up. Thanks for your saving grace of humour and gift to us all, preserved, of laughter. We need it !!
What a beautiful soul...he will never be forgotten in my household...he ill be missed...

A funny, talented, comedy genius, lost to the world.
I loved Phil's work on SNL and the Simpsons back in the early 90s (my high school years), and after he left SNL, things were never the same on that show... it lost some of its luster. Sadly, I never really knew about Newsradio during its NBC run as I was busy with college and not watching much TV besides X-Files at the time.
However, I finally first saw Newsradio back in 2002 on A&E and quickly became hooked. I ended up taping the entire show (except for one episode, which they skipped airing, and then A&E stopped playing the show during the next run-through... that ep is Stinkbutt. Heh)... and now the DVD sets are finally starting to come out almost 3 years after I got into the show.
My fave eps will always be Smoking and the Cane (both of which are in the 1&2 DVDs currently available)... and that is simply due to the great comedy produced in those two eps (well, in ALL the eps, but especially those two) by Phil Hartman and Dave Foley. They made the greatest team ever, and it's a shame they were only together for three and a half seasons of quality television.

Just watching the NewsRadio DVDs and I'm reminded yet again of Phil's genius. He could have two scenes in an episode and they would, almost without fail, be the two funniest. Considering the strength of that cast, that's really saying something.
Miss you, Phil.
And here we are all over again. Isn't it amazing how this guestbook ust keeps rolling along? A true testament to the strength, dignity and true talent of Phil. They broke the mold when they made him. Hope you are riding some great waves off the coast of Catalina kind sir.
Forever Phil
Well well, even today my fiancee still talk about how Phil made us laugh so hard so often. What a true pity he is no longer with us. Thanks for all the laughs Phil,

Wow you touched so many lives, more then you know. I have fond memories of watching snl, or newsradio with my brother. Thank you so much for your humor. "show me a woman that's not jealous of another woman... and I'll show you a man" - We miss you
Phil touched my life in many ways, even though I only knew him through the wonder of movies and television. I will forever remember the humor and satire he brought. In all the world people are so serious. Phil knew how to have fun! Thanx for the memories Phil! You were so "SASSY"

Hi! Today I have received the DVD of NewsRadio complete first and second season, which I pre-ordered in 2003. It took so long time, but today! It's your MEINICHI (means death day in Japanese). You will make me laugh again! Thank you the precious gift from heaven on your MEINICHI.
